LI ECDC MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Long Island Early Childhood Direction Center is to provide parents of children birth to age five, who have been diagnosed or who have suspected special needs, and the professionals who work with them free and confidential information, resources, referrals, and trainings in Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Services are available in English and Spanish and other languages upon request.
LI ECDC IS HOSTED BY THE CENTER FOR COMMUNITY INCLUSION (CCI) AT LONG ISLAND UNIVERSITY
The mission of The Center for Community Inclusion is to provide families, educators, early interventionists, medical professionals, employers, and the community at large with resources to support individuals with disabilities in our schools, workplaces, residences, and places of leisure enabling them to become active members of their communities meeting their full potential in all aspects of life. The Center for Community Inclusion will provide students with exemplary programs enabling them to gain experience utilizing state of the art service delivery models.
